Holidays falling on weekends (no weekday closure): Mahashivratri 2026-02-15 (Sun), Id-Ul-Fitr (Ramadan Eid) 2026-03-21 (Sat), Independence Day 2026-08-15 (Sat), Diwali Laxmi Pujan 2026-11-08 (Sun). Muhurat trading on Sunday, 2026-11-08 (Diwali Laxmi Pujan); timings to be notified by a separate circular (not yet announced as of 2026-10-09). Special live trading session on Sunday, 2026-02-01 (Union Budget day), 9:15 AM to 3:00 PM. BSE settlement holidays for 2026 were notified separately (ICCL, notice 20251224-1). The annual dates match NSE's official 2026 circular exactly.
